The Client is not refreshing content

Symptom: Your client does not refresh content until you manually restart it.

1. Do you have only 1 media item to display? There is a limitation with the .NET Client which means Layouts that contain only 1 media item must be followed by another layout, otherwise that media item will not refresh.

2. Is the item that is not refreshing a RSS item Up until version 1.0.2 of the .NET client RSS is cached for 6 hours by default. The 1.0.2 client enables you to select your "update interval" for RSS and update more frequently.

3. Do you have the PHONE_HOME setting to "Enabled"? There are some situations pre 1.0.2 where the PHONE_HOME functionality causes the client to fail to update. Try disabling this.
